ADMISSION
The MSC Neurobiology program of Sapienza University of Rome is open to all interested students in Italy, Europe and elsewhere in the world.
The selection is based on a fair competitive process. Every year, there are 60 positions available.

RESEARCH
The degree program offers the opportunity to experience research in laboratories of national and international excellence, working in the field of neuroscience both at Sapienza University of Rome and in public and private institutions (EBRI, CNR, ISS, EMBL, S. Lucia).
WORK
After graduation, students have access to career opportunities in the expanding field of neuroscience in Universities and Public and Private Research Institutes, both in Italy and abroad; to integrate into applied biomedical research groups in industries; to continue to the third level of study (PhD).

OUR MISSION

The MSC in Neurobiology aims at providing basic training in neuroscience, embracing topics ranging from cellular and molecular neurobiology to structural and functional analysis of the most interesting neuronal circuits from a physiological and pathological point of view. It also extends to the study of behavior and its biological bases as well as to the use of animal models for the study of nervous system disorders.

TUTORS will provide support for the identification of the training paths that are most appropriate to students’ interests and their inclusion in the workplace.
